He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Sutton, Sr. and Lucille Herring Sutton; his wife Annette Sutton (Elaine); and his brothers, David Sutton and Michael Sutton.
He is survived by: his children, William Brent Sutton, Jr. (Dianna) of Gastonia, NC, Debby Moyer of Belhaven, NC and Liz Shelton (Dan) of Raleigh, NC; his stepchildren, Lewton Britt of Durham, NC, Connie Samaniego (Enrique) of Plano and Lisa Britt (John) of Columbia, MO; and his siblings, Kenneth Sutton, Jr. (Judy) of Raleigh, NC, Linda Kelly (William) of Mt. Olive, NC and Peggy Bonner of Mayo, SC. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
