He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Robert Franklin Soots Sr. and Cleo Byrd Soots; his wife Sharon Soots; his daughter Shannon Kay; his son-in-law Aaron Kay; his granddaughter Avery Kay; and his siblings, Ralph Soots, Larry Soots, Joyce Smith, Arnold Soots, Roger Soots and Richard Soots. He was also cherished by spouses and his many nieces and nephews.
