It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mary Strowd Riggsbee of Pittsboro, North Carolina, born in Durham, North Carolina, who passed away on August 3, 2022, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Baxter Riggsbee; and her son Fred. She is survived by: her sister Kathryn Paul; her daughter Lydia Maher (Steve Maher); her daughter-in-law Lunday Riggsbee; and her grandchildren, Abraham, Zachary, Nathaniel, Dillon, Tessa, Alannah, Kathryn, Daniel and William. She is also survived by 17 great grandchildren.
