It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joe Wesley Burke of Pittsboro, North Carolina, who passed away on August 11, 2022, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Jasper Foushee Burke; and his siblings, Charlie Bright (Lillian), Calvin Burke (Mary), W. F. Burke (Jane), Annie Alley (Lionel), Hilda Ferguson (Gene) and Sarah Scott (Lester).
He is survived by: his wife Ann Baldwin Burke; his daughters, JoAnn Norwood (Bob) and Frankie Glosson (Robert); his grandchildren, Kristen Oakes (Stephen) and Ryan Thompson (Brooke); and his great grandchildren, Grady Oakes, Charlie Jo Oakes and Sam Thompson.
