He is survived by: his wife Tina Perry of Durham, NC; his children, Brittany Perry of Chapel Hill, NC, Tyrone Hester of Boston, MA, Tierra West (Dreaman) of Durham, NC and Gwendolyn Kinney (Darrion) of Siler City, NC; and his siblings, Savonna Cozart (Trent), Jacqueline Perry (Thomas), Larry Perry (Felicia), Merline Anderson, Kenny Perry (Lizette), Markis Perry (Lavoisha) and James Perry Jr. of Ayden, NC. He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
