We are sad to announce that on May 18, 2020, Mattie Whitmire (Pisgah Forest, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Cleophus Hamlin and Ethel Hamlin; and her husband Ruel. She is survived by: her children, Ruel Keith of Fletcher and Janet Robinson (David) of Bell Buckle, TN; her granddaughters, Karen Chapman (Forrest) of Schwenksville, PA and Kathy Shull (Kirk) of Springville, UT; and her great grandchildren, Joel, Lana, Sarah, Andrew, Magdalena, Hannah, David, Maryanna, Susanna and Timothy.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Children's Ministry Department at Turkey Creek Baptist Church.
