Joyce Whitmire Obituary
We are sad to announce that on May 15, 2020, at the age of 92, Joyce Whitmire (Pisgah Forest, North Carolina) passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Joyce Whitmire to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Monteith and Mamie Monteith; her siblings, Vivian, Bernice, Doris, Arnold, AJ and Charles; and her son Henry Edward.
She is survived by: her sons, Fred, Gary (Sandy), Michael (Julie) of Brevard and Jeff (Anita) of Huntsville Alabama; her grandchildren, Lesley Ledford, Lindsay Wilson, Sarah Whitmire, Savannah Whitmire, Kristen Frisbee, Matthew Whitmire, Carina Whitmire and Ava Whitmire; her great grandchildren, Brooke, Parker, Whit and Darby; and her sister June Whitmire (Marshall) of Brevard.
Due to the current pandemic, A private graveside service will be held on Monday May 18, 2020 with a celebration of life service to follow on a later date at Grace Baptist Church.
Joyce loved flowers and they would be appreciated, or in lieu of flowers donations may be made to Little River Volunteer Fire Department, or Grace Baptist Church.
