He is survived by: his mother Diane Robinson; his daughter Carrie Serjeant; his fiancée Katherine Hudson; and his nephew Anthony Torres.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to HeartWorks, a non-profit serving at-risk kids in Pamlico County.
