He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel James Fitzpatrick and Virginia Louise Fitzpatrick. He is survived by: his wife Colleen of Oriental, NC; his children, Ian Fitzpatrick of Wellesley, MA, Erin Turnmeyer of Burke, VA and Shannon Kaminski of Manchester, NH; and his sisters, Virginia Fitzpatrick of Stanwood, WA and Patricia Schilling of Irvine, CA..
