She was predeceased by: her husband George W. Ford; her parents, Mahugh Slade and Pearl Slade; her siblings, Joyce Ann Slade Cummings and Hugh Donald Slade; and her granddaughter Amanda Elizabeth.
She is survived by: her daughters, Penny May Ford, Elizabeth Ford Cuthrell (James) and Pearl Ford Smith (Steven); her grandchildren, Dylan Smith, Bryan Cuthrell, Grace Smith and Mattie Cuthrell; and her great grandchildren, Jaxon and Able Cuthrell.
In lieu of flowers the family suggested memorial contributions be made to Bethel FWB Church Cemetery Fund, c/o Elizabeth Cuthrell, 272 Wildwood Dr., Oriental, NC 28571.
