It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Geneva A. Barnett (Oriental, North Carolina), who passed away on November 2, 2019, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Stueve and Golda Stueve (Hoyt); and her siblings, Gerald, Gail, Grover, Gordon, Gene, Glen Stueve, Greta, Gretchen and Genelle.

She is survived by: her former husband Robert Barnett; her children, Alisha Paur of New Bern, NC, Robert Barnett (Ginger) of Oriental, NC, Douglas Barnett of California and Debra Petersen (Craig) of Dunnell, MN; her grandchildren, Mickie Bosshart, Jim, Robert Barnett, Tiffany, Lorinda Barnett, David Barnett, Sara Pawlik, Michael, Anna Randall, Rosalyn Rode, James, Jessica Summers and Andrew Petersen; her significant other Leland Koehlmoos of Spirit Lake, IA; and her sister Gloria Cargil of Coon Rapids, MN. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
