He was predeceased by: his parents, Dale Clyde Gilley and Essie McCormick Gilley; and his siblings, Delois Willoughby, Glenda Gilley and Bill Gilley.
He is survived by: his sons, David Gilley (Mandy), Darron Gilley (Sara Jane) of Bladenboro, NC and Daryl Gilley (Bridget) of Eaton, IN; and his siblings, Samuel Dale Gilley of Chula Vista, CA, Clyde Gilley, Jr. of Eden, NC, Elaine Land of Eden, NC and Sandra Willoughby of Lynchburg, VA. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
