He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Lee Eury and Gladys Geraldine Smith Eury; his son Wesley Joe Eury; and his brother Tony Eury. He is survived by: his wife Betty P. Eury of Oakboro, NC; his children, Virginia Eury Backman (Rob) and Scot Darrell Eury (Melinda); his grandchildren, Jared and Hannah; and his siblings, Clarence Eury of Concord, NC, Clay Eury of Kansas, Jeff Eury of Oakboro, Lamar Eury of Florida and Roger Eury of Oakboro.
Memorials may be made to Red Cross Baptist Church.
