Bennie Thomas Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bennie Thomas (Oakboro, North Carolina), who passed away on October 15, 2019 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Lawson Barbee and Carrie Kennedy Barbee; her husband Bayne Ashley Thomas; and her brothers, Merlin Barbee and Jerry Barbee.
She is survived by: her children, Susan Adams (Ron), Alan Thomas (Debbie), David Thomas (Jeralyn) and Mark Thomas (Angie); her grandchildren, Lori Huneycutt, Ryan Thomas, Abby Thomas, Clint Thomas, Kevin Thomas and Nathan Thomas; and her sisters, Frances Helms, Kay Chaney and Andria Coble. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of Stanly County, or Mineral Springs Baptist Church.
