He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Lee Curlee and Cora Hinson Curlee; his brothers, Cecil, Cletus and Clayton Curlee; and his grandson Stephen Eric Sanders.
He is survived by: his wife Syble Curlee of Norwood; his children, Jay Curlee of Norwood and Lisa Boles of Burnsville; and his grandchildren, Daniel Curlee, Stephen Daniel Burleson and Krystal Surratt. He is also survived by seven great-grand children.
