She was predeceased by: her parents, James Thomas and Ila Lewis Britt; and her husband Hayward Gates Porter Sr.. She is survived by: her children, Hayward Porter Jr. of Norwood, Joann Porter of Albemarle and Pam Morton of Norwood; her granddaughter Heather Porter; her great grandchildren, Nicholas, Matthew and Brandon; and her siblings, Robert Britt of Albemarle, Cathey Grissom of Norwood and Frances Canter of Harrisburg.
