He was predeceased by: his parents, Hubert Newton and Edith Wise Russell; and his siblings, Johnny Russell, Danny Russell and Teresa Williams.
He is survived by: his daughters, Felicia Granados (Samuel) of Norwood and Shelly Russell of Norwood; his brother Michael Russell (Linda) of Albemarle; his stepsons, Charles Munson, Jonathan Hathcock and Nathan Haskins; his grandchildren, Selena, Giovanni, Bianca, Sophia, Christian, Chelsea (Chris Arrington), Hailey, Jeffrey, Alyssa, Colby and Gracie; and his great grandchildren, DeMessiah, Peyton, Weston and Armani.
