He is survived by: his parents, Ronald Lee Holmes of Virginia and Pamela Ann Lester of Virginia; his wife Andrea Kinney; his sons, Tyler Dwayne Holmes of Virginia, James Earl Holmes of Virginia and Samuel Ray Holmes; his siblings, Ronald Holmes, Jr., J. C. Holmes and Spring Dowdy of Virginia; and his granddaughters, Kensleigh Autumn Holmes and Miliah Sharee Allen. He is also survived by 13 cats.
