He was predeceased by: his parents, Arlys Granville and Gladys Key Walters; and his siblings, Joe Walters and Rachel Welch. He is survived by: his wife Opal Tilley Walters; his children, Tony Walters (Leigh) of Lewisville, NC and Robin Knight (Kenny) of Polkton, NC; his grandchildren, Diane Hasenmayer, Will Knight (Melanie) and Michael Walters; his great grandchildren, Lauryn, Jay, Phillip, Catherine Hasenmayer, Easton, Kaiden and Cohen Knight; and his sister Mary Ruth Roach.
