It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Tyson of Norwood, North Carolina, who passed away on April 3, 2021, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lane Barringer and Nellie Thompson Barringer; and her son Terry Deese. She is survived by: her husband David Carroll Tyson; her sons, Tony Barringer (Loretta) of Mt. Gilead, Tracy Deese (Robin) of Albemarle and Timothy Deese; her siblings, John Barringer of Mt. Gilead, Chris Barringer (Kathy) of Sanford, Judy Cox of Mt. Gilead and Angela Huneycutt (Derry) of Norwood; her grandchildren, Tyler Saunders, McKenzie Deese, Luke Barringer, Chasity Manuel (Jon) and Samantha Shepherd (C. J.); and her pet Diesel.
