She was predeceased by: her parents, Cecil Hudson and Ollie Duke Hudson; her husband Robert Franklin Colson; her son Tony Colson; her daughter-in-law Sherri Colson Furr; and her granddaughter Ashley Yvonne Colson.
She is survived by: her children, Margaret Colson Hicks, Jeannie Colson Mauldin (Billy), Frankie Colson, Judy Colson Hathcock and Jessie Glen Colson. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.
