She is survived by: her children, Rickey Shankle (Veronica Morris Shankle) of Albemarle, Richard Shankle (Mary) of Florida and Sylvia James (Jonathan) of Mooresville, NC; and her granddaughter Tamiko Miller (Maurice) of Mount Gilead. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
