She was predeceased by: her parents, Lester Harvell and Inez Morton Harvell; her husband Bradford Eugene Swaringen; and her brother Gary Harvell. She is survived by: her son Bradley Swaringen (Wanda); her brother Leonard Harvell (Donna) of Oakboro; her grandchildren, Christin Swaringen, Drake Bowers (Jenny Loflin) and Brittney Thomas (Michael); her great grandchild Hendrix Thomas; and her parents-in-law, Patricia Almond, Glenn Swaringen and Barbara Harrington (Danny).
