He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Spivey and Marlene Duke Spivey; and his siblings, Rebecca Spivey Burris, Bobby, Randy and Scott Spivey.
He is survived by: his children, Felicia Spivey of New London, Heather Spivey of Asheboro and David Spivey of Richfield; and his grandchildren, Kayden, Preston Sexton, Jase Spivey, Kaylee, Aubree Jordan and Olivia Spivey.
