He is survived by: his wife Shelia Howard Luther; his children, Barry Luther of Albemarle, Brian Luther (Nonnie) of Norwood and Shanna Luther of Norwood; his granddaughter Victoria Grace Luther of Albemarle; and his brothers, Harry Luther (Norma Jean) of West Virginia and Franklin Luther of Oakboro.
