She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald E. Howard and Madeleine Cosgrove Howard; her husband Sidney Oliver Anderson; and her sons, John Joseph Anderson and Donald Raymond Anderson.
She is survived by: her children, Patricia House (Roger) of Elkin, William "Bill" Anderson of McGrady and Mike Anderson of North Wilkesboro. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; and seventeen great grandchildren.
