He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Simon Transeau and Mary Zeimer Transeau; his wife Sandra Pearl Trapp Transeau; his sons, Roger Transeau (April), Hays, Chris Transeau (Jessica) of North Wilkesboro and Daniel Transeau (Paul Transeau) of Hamptonville; his grandchildren, Hunter, Autumn, Philip, Alexia, Calvin, Angel, Caleb, Isabella, Lorelai, Harrison and Edison; his pet Diesel; and his siblings, Sylvia Edsel (Johnny) of Conover, Sydney Transeau (Donna) of McGrady and Jimmy Transeau (Queenie) of North Wilkesboro.
