With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Roger Glenn Childress of North Wilkesboro, North Carolina, who passed away on October 25, 2022 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Uless James "UJ" and Minnie Sebastian Childress; his brother Charlie Childress; and his siblings-in-law, Tony Jester, Anna Childress and Vena Childress.
He is survived by: his wife Stephanie Ann Childress; his son Scott Glenn Childress (Kay) of Grand Prairie, TX; his grandchildren, Phoebe Childress, Simeon Childress and Hattie Childress; and his siblings, Verina Jester of Yadkinville, Teresa Eller (Ricky) of North Wilkesboro, James Childress (Evelyn) of Statesville and David Childress of North Wilkesboro. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
