He is survived by: his mother Shirley Brown Oakley (Lanny Bowers) of North Wilkesboro; his brother Nickey Lee Oakley (Tia) of North Wilkesboro; his son Chuck Lemming of Granite Falls; his grandson Charlie Lemming; his nieces, Brittany Oakley, Katie Oakley, Madison Poe and Savannah Poe; his nephew Wesley Poe; his great-nephew Nickey Oakley; and his aunt Alice Laws.
