She was predeceased by: her parents, Ira Shumate and Verna Cleary Shumate; her husband John Iredell Davidson; her children, Pamela Johnette Davidson and Michael Davidson; and her siblings, Luther Shumate, James "Jim" Shumate, Grace S. Adams, Mack Shumate, Rex Shumate, Bill Shumate, Everette Shumate, Dwight Shumate, Robert Shumate, Theda Dean and Monroe Shumate.
She is survived by: her children, Karen Caudill (Don) of McGrady, William Davidson of North Wilkesboro and Jeffrey Davidson of Hays; her grandson Donnie Caudill of McGrady; and her great grandchildren, Jasmine Caudill of Millers Creek, Lacey Caudill of McGrady and Dylan Caudill of McGrady.
