She was predeceased by: her parents, John Wilson and Fannie Mae Mahaffey Walker; her husband Johnny Henry Pierce; her son Roger Pierce; her grandson Shaun Mitchell Pierce; and her siblings, John A. Walker, Gladys Louise Church, Ella Mae Goekin and Juanita Lannoye.
She is survived by: her children, Tim Pierce (Debbie) of North Wilkesboro and Lisa Proffit (Ted) of Statesville; her grandchildren, Jessica Romans (Benny) of North Wilkesboro, Rev. Jacob Pierce of Charlotte, Jacqui Pendley (John) of Statesville and Jennifer Disney (Mark) of Oak Ridge, NC; and her great grandchildren, Lillie Romans, Landon Romans, Jaidyn Pendley, Jaiyme Pendley, Isabella Disney, Abigail Disney and Madelyn Disney. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
