She was predeceased by: her parents, Glen George and Emma Dell Faw; her husband Billy Hayes; and her siblings, Willard Faw, Jesse Caudill and Thelma Testerman.
She is survived by: her children, Patricia Rice (Richard) of Chattanooga, Teresa Miller (Earl) of Glendale Springs, Zandra Lyalls of West Jefferson, Robin Bumgarner of North Wilkesboro, Teenya Weist (Sam) of Asheville and Sheree Miller of Asheville; her grandchildren, Christine Farrington (Wesley), BJ Lyalls (Jessica) of West Jefferson, Brian Miller of Glendale Springs, Sheena Roten (Luke) of Creston and Jada Miller of Asheville; her great grandchildren, Kaden Farrington of Hays, Madison Farrington of Hays, Loston Lyalls of West Jefferson, Kenleigh Lyalls of West Jefferson, Adalyn Lyalls of West Jefferson, Trinyti Miller of West Jefferson, Riley Roten of Creston, Abel Roten of Creston and Sawyer Roten of Creston; and her friend Marie Wagoner. She is also survived by her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
