She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Pennell and Callie Jane Robinson Pennell; her husband Dwight Dewitt Haynes; and her siblings, Bill, Earl, Charles Pennell, Lula Pennell Wheatley, Edna Reavis and Juanita Baldwin.
She is survived by: her sons, Doug Haynes (Martha) of Thomasville and Kevin Haynes (Heather) of North Wilkesboro; her grandchildren, Tiffany Michael, DJ Haynes, Josh Curry, Quintin Parsons and Dylan Miller; and her niece Betty Church. She is also survived by nine great grandchildren.
