He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Alfred Wagoner and Lonie Mae Wagoner; his children, Sherry Marie Wagoner and Edward Wagoner; and his siblings, Nancy Wagoner, Billy Wagoner and Robert Wagoner.
He is survived by: his daughters, Donna Wagoner (Charles McAbee) of Grover and Wanda Royal (Jerry) of Wilkesboro; his grandchildren, Crystal Wagoner, Cynthia McAbee, Reggie Royal of Charlies, Regia Stamper, Verna Wagoner, Brandon Bumgarner and Eric Wagoner; and his brother Ray Wagoner of Hudson. He is also survived by twelve great grandchildren.
