He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Hailey and Della Barber Hailey; his brother Walter Hailey; and his stepdaughter Patricia Hamilton. He is survived by: his significant other Wanda Hamilton; and his children, Brandon Hailey of Charlotte, John Hailey of Winston Salem and Annette Hailey of Winston Salem. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; and fourteen great grandchildren.
