He is survived by: his children, John Cheung Jr. of North Wilkesboro and Regina Pierce (Thomas) of Moravian Falls; his granddaughter Kaitlyn Pierce of Moravian Falls; and his sister Ming Lam of Hong Kong. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
