He was predeceased by: his parents, Roby Lee and Ruby Blackburn Stone. He is survived by: his wife Ilene Blackburn Stone; and his siblings, Brenda Mitchell (Jim) of North Wilkesboro, Larry Stone of Statesville and Danny Stone (Joyce) of Yadkinville. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
