He was predeceased by: his parents, James Paul and Edell Brown Osborne; and his siblings, Ruth Osborne Chatham, Robert Eugene Osborne and Steve Osborne.

He is survived by: his siblings, Sue Osborne of North Wilkesboro and Ricky Osborne (Tammy) of North Wilkesboro; his nieces, Breanna Osborne of Hays and April Chatham of Elkin; and his nephew Jason Chatham of Ronda.
