He is survived by: his wife Dr. Karolen Church Bowman; his children, Kathren Lee Bowman Lundy (Nathan Curtis Lundy) of North Wilkesboro, Dr. John Daniel Bowman (Ruhi Arpana Johnson), Dr. David Neil Bowman (Amanda Elaine Jones) of Wilkesboro and Paul Thomas Bowman of Forsyth County; his grandchildren, Deborah Sarita Bowman, Abigail Nancy Bowman, Flynn Alexander Lundy, Elijah John Bowman, Caleb James Bowman, Noah Luke Bowman and Jonathan Boaz Bowman; and his sister Nannie Elizabeth Bowman Wooten (Steve Houston Wooten) of Liberty, NC.
