He was predeceased by: his parents, Hillary Herman and Maudie Brooks Bell; and his children, Linda Roberts and Nathaniel Bell. He is survived by: his wife Reba Haynes Bell; his children, Janice Griffin (Darrell) of Millers Creek and Danny Bell (Jean) of North Wilkesboro; his brothers, Jim Bell (Mary) of Florida and Lehman Bell (Carol) of Georgia; his grandchildren, Kelly Brewer (Brandon), Natasha Jennings, Allie Long (Casey), Fisher Griffin, Charlie Griffin and Rusty Stanley; his great grandchildren, Kinsley Jennings, Makan Haynes, Mason Brewer and Payton Brewer; and his son-in-law Gerald Roberts.
