He is survived by: his nieces and nephews, David V. Royall (Susie) of North Wilkesboro, Martha C. Reins (William) of North Wilkesboro, Margarette Cleary of North Wilkesboro, Larry Shepherd (Jeanette) of Boomer, Robert Bell (Carol) of Hays, Mildred Choate (Lyn) of Sparta and Mark Bell.
