She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Locklear and Carrie Goins Locklear; her husband Fred Chavis; her children, Fred Darrell Chavis, Vickie Joe Apple and Barbara Susan Bumgarner; and her siblings, Zettie Bell Baxley, Jesse Lee Williams, James Locklear, Josephine Leviner, Evalene Coble, Robert Lee Locklear, Lizzie Jacobs and Lawrence Locklear.
She is survived by: her daughter Audrey Dean Crane; her siblings, Willard Locklear, Henry Locklear and Lena Mae Locklear; and her grandchildren, Kenneth Hill, Johnny Hill, Camilla Oxentine and Billie Mishue-Harless. She is also survived by her many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
