It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Harriette Nelia Compton of North Wilkesboro, North Carolina, born in Spartanburg, South Carolina, who passed away on December 10, 2022, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Montgomery Carl and Verbie Hallman Littlejohn; her husband Kenneth Lee Compton; and her brother Montgomery Carl Littlejohn, Jr. (Loretta Sloan Littlejohn). She is survived by: her children, Kathryn Lynn Compton of North Wilkesboro and Kenneth Lee Compton, Jr. (Joanne Ward Compton) of Matthews; her grandson John Ward Compton (Taylor Milner Compton); her great grandchild Oliver Emerson Compton; and her nieces, Lori Sullivan (Don) of Birmingham, AL. and Lisa Littlejohn of Birmingham, AL..
