He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. James Theodore Hendrix and Flossie Pearl Greene Hendrix; his wife Peggy Higgins Hendrix; and his brothers, Howard Hendrix, Ransom Hendrix and Hoover Hendrix.
He is survived by: his daughter Lisa Hendrix Pruitt (Tim Pruitt) of Hays; his grandchildren, Emily Perryman, Sarah Stott (Daniel) and Eric Pruitt (Breanna); his great grandchildren, Elijah Perryman, Isaac Stott, Ezra Stott, Eve Joy Stott, Adelyn Pruitt, Charlotte Pruitt and Calvin Pruitt; his brother Mack Hendrix (Pauline) of Hays; and his extended family, Van, Karolyn Fulp, Kenneth and Pamela Handy.
Flowers will be accepted, or memorials may be made to the donor's choice.
