She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Richard Byrd and Naomia Crane Byrd; her son Terry Absher; her brother Richard H. Byrd; her spouse F. A. Absher; her son Gerald A. Absher of Kannapolis; her grandchildren, Brittany Absher-Baer, Kollin of Cary, Emily Absher of Kannapolis and Grayson Absher of Kannapolis; her brother Bobby S. Byrd (Jamy) of The Villages; her stepmother Clara Byrd of North Wilkesboro; and her sisters-in-law, AsaLee Absher of Wilkesboro, Geraldine Absher of Greensboro and Ethel Byrd of Wilkesboro. She was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
