She is survived by: her husband Alvin Eugene Sturgill; her children, Linda P. Sturgill of Hays, Phyllis Richardson of North Wilkesboro, James Rhoads (Linda Kay) of North Wilkesboro, Alvin Wayne Sturgill of North Wilkesboro, Michael Sturgill of North Wilkesboro and Tony Sturgill of North Wilkesboro; and her grandchildren, Melissa Pardo, Gail Absher, Matthew Rhoads, Brandon Sturgill, Jamie Spicer, Joey Spicer, Davey Sturgill, Christy McDaniel, Amelia Richardson and Logan Richardson. She is also survived by several great grandchildren.
