She is survived by: her children, Carolyn Anderson of North Wilkesboro and Andrew Smith (Peggy) of Lenoir; her grandchildren, Robin Anderson, Melissa Anderson and Candie Darnell (Walt); and her great grandchildren, Nathan Anderson (Ashley), Bryna Anderson and Tommy Walter Shew III.
