He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester Blaine and Mae Absher Billings; his wife Mary Linda Orsborne Billings; his siblings, Helen Cockerham (Arthur), Mildred Burcham (Harold), Anna Lee Billings, Hubert Billings (Ruth) and Elbert Billings; and his brother-in-law Charles Jordan.
He is survived by: his daughter Vera Stamper (Dean) of North Wilkesboro; his granddaughter Chrissy Billings (Jeffrey); his great grandchild Tyler Billings; his sisters, Geraldine Jordan of Roaring River and Earline Poplin (Kenneth) of Roaring River; and his siblings-in-law, Mary Billings of Elkin and Clayborn Orsborne (Cindy) of Virginia.
