He was predeceased by: his sisters, Carrie "Lynn" Johnson and Paula Adams. He is survived by: his daughter Shannon "Olivia" Triplett of Elkin; and his siblings, Wendy Thomas (Gary) of Lynn Haven, Florida and Scottie Johnson of Asheville.
