She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Murray James Gerald, Jr.; her son Glenn Snead of Clayton; her grandchildren, Glenn Montrell Williams, Kendrick Snead, Derrick Snead, Cedrick Snead, Stephanie Snead and Ashley Ballentine; her great grandchildren, Mackenzie, Londyn, Payton, Paris and Maverick; her siblings, Edward Snead, Eddie Snead, Leon Snead, Brenda Snead, Rena Cameron, Annie Pearl Williams, Yvonne Snead and Denise Surles; her sisters-in-law, Edna Kahn, Katie Francios, Blondie Young and Barbara Gerald; and her stepchildren, Bryant, Britt, Avery, Michael, Sherry Matthews and Janine Gerald. She was also cherished by step grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.
